Jean Marie Holly, nee Fricka, age 76, a lifelong Cicero, IL resident, died October 29, 2016 at Alexian Hospice in Elk Grove Village, IL. The former Jean Marie Fricka was a caring mom to her children, Paul and Joyce, and a devoted wife to her late husband , John. She was recognized for her volunteer services at The Seguin Thrift Shop to support Seguin Intellectually Disabled Citizens Association. More recently, she spent the last eight years “spoiling” her beloved dogs, Nellie and Buddy as well as her grandchildren. She is a graduate of Morton High School in Cicero. Jean is survived by her precious “baby” Nellie, a daughter Joyce Murray and son-in-law Tony Murray; three grandchildren Nicole, Danielle and Caitlin; one sister Joan Bigos and two brothers, Donald and Ken Fricka. Kevin Mark Gerharz, age 62, of Waterford, Wi., passed away unexpectedly at Waukesha Memorial Hospital and was “called to that big lake in the sky” October 10, 2016. Kevin was born to Urban and Patricia (nee Barley) Gerharz on August 23, 1954, while in the military based in Honolulu, Hawaii. After returning to the mainland he graduated from high school in Lemont. Kevin moved to Waukesha where he met the love of his life, Teri Stoll right next door to his home and they began their relationship before moving to Waterford in 1995. Kevin owned and operated his business, Signature Auto Stripes and Accessories, from 1988 to 1994 when he retired the business. This allowed him to do the things he loved – fishing, music, riding his motorcycle and most of all sitting in his extra wide recliner. On July 4, 2007 Kevin and Teri were married in Las Vegas, NV. Kevin was a loving and caring husband, son, brother and friend to many and will be missed beyond words.
Kevin is survived by loving wife Teri, three sisters; Diana Ruettiger, Eileen (John) Prendergast, Tracy (Edward) Pietrzyk; two brothers Glenn (Amanda) Gerharz and Cullen O’Mara; five nieces, Emma, Claire, Aubrey, Kailey and Madison; two nephews Eddie James and Bryant; one aunt, Karen (David) Garvey; seven cousins, Timothy and David Garvey, Phillip, Susan, Charlie, Andrew and Lizzy Berber and other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents Urban C. and Patricia, grandparents Urban and Marian, one aunt Marilyn Bebber and two uncles Ralph and Robert Barley.

David Arthur Birkett, age 86, of Woodridge, at rest August 4, 2016. David was born in Detroit, Michigan on Sept. 25, 1929 to his loving and devoted parents Oswald Frank and Dorothy Anne Birkett. He lived across the country in his youth in Oak Park and Peoria, Il., then Dallas, Tx. and St. Louis, Mo., finally returning to Illinois to live in Lisle, Lemont and Woodridge. He was the beloved husband of Diane (nee Georgia), with whom he had just celebrated 42 years of marriage on July 31st. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his younger brother George Birkett, and his first wife Barbara. David is survived by four children and seven grandchildren; Steve Birkett, husband of Mary and father of Ryan and Nathan; Cindy Cameron, wife of Scott and mother of Ian; Fred Birkett husband of Melissa and father of Haley, Brooke, Breanna and Gavin; and Michelle Birkett, wife of Mike Pickering. He is also survived by his older sister, Patricia Herne (nee Birkett).
